FUT 21 debuted on next-gen consoles on December 4, 2020 and, despite being very well received by players, these versions came with certain bugs that slightly impaired the gaming experience.
The arrival of FUT 21 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S has represented a good leap in quality for the franchise thanks to the possibilities of the new hardware of these systems, allowing the developer to create the highest quality graphics to build an even more realistic experience of the already known to all.
Now, EA Sports has released a new update on these consoles that is responsible for correcting many of the errors of the game, especially the most recurrent ones that had been reported by users on social networks.
Regarding gameplay, the most notable change that this update has introduced is the reduction of ball speed. Now, the players’ shots will not have as much power and the crosses will not go so fast, giving a more leisurely and realistic rhythm to all the plays.
In addition, EA also fixex the bug that caused the players to place the ball in a different place than the infraction in free kicks. This topic affected many users since the game’s launch.
Following the same line, they fixed the error that caused players to be able to continue moving after being fouled, allowing them to advance and place themselves in the most advantageous position possible.
Finally, the probability of footballers tripping and falling after the slightest contact has also been reduced.
EA Sports has once again retouched the logical decision system of referees in order to make they have better judgment in specific game situations such as red cards after fouls from behind by the last man in defense.
As for FUT, Squad Battles games will now load correctly and the opponent’s lineup will not disappear as it has been throughout this time. The bug that arose when a player invited one of his friends to a cooperative game has also been fixed.
Finally, one of the most curious things about this update is the addition of the famous West Ham United stadium bubbles, very characteristic of their fans. Now, in every game you play with West Ham at the London Olympic Stadium, bubbles will appear in close-up camera shots.
However, there is no doubt that EA Sports still has a lot of work to do with future updates, as the game still has a lot of room for improvement that they will surely take advantage of.
FUT 21 is now available worldwide on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC, remember to sell FIFA 21 Coins to U7BUY if you have extra coins.
